Nadia is already here! AHH she's gorgeous!
Thanks to An Jonghak for the amazing work. I think I couldn't have asked for a doll more gorgeous than this. The 18 bodies were known to have stability issues in the knees, but Dollstown revised the joints at the turn of 2025 and I got this new bit of engineering with my order. She stands and holds poses great despite the weight (I love how heavy she is!) I got full body blushing and seam sanding based on my idea of getting only a few dolls but as nice as possible, and she's a joy to behold.
I love her nose and profile so much. I fell in love with her sculpt when I saw a series of pictures of the head on a partial 17 body showing off the posing. Just a torso was so expressive! I was taken with the beautiful shape of her face, and the sci-fi feel of the picture burned it in my mind. From the very beginning I'd seen something special about Dollstown's sculpting, the bodies looked so natural and organic. I am glad I followed through.

But seeing her in person is something else. Ah I love this doll! Though I'm still hesitant to play with her because of that precious blushing. I feel I'll need to use cotton gloves with her for peace of mind.
The wigs for her and Leona are coming soon! Just a matter of days! I didn't think I would feel such a relief from thinking about it, but all my 4 dolls are now complete and I'll only have to think about clothes. Which is a lot... I want to get a goth-punk outfit for Candell, definitely Leona's fantasy outfit, and Nadia needs to find her style, which might take some trial and error.
My Nadia shipped this morning! An Jonghak posted a few pictures of his finished work on her and I am so grateful. I cannot wait for her to finally come home! I've got wigs on the way as well, for her and Leona.
I'm very happy that I've found a place for Leona, and I am going to start piecing together her outfit soon. 4 dolls is already a lot to handle, and I'm going to make peace with the fact I'll need to progress little by little.
Leona is here! My Marketplace find, an old Souldoll Zenith Paratiisi hailing from the far, far 2013 (or 2012). I really love the old Zenith double body's posing and I'll make a little writeup about it as soon as I get a proper wig for her - the ones I have don't fit too well. She's a wonderful doll and quite different than the others. I plan on styling her fantasy, somewhat vampiresque. She's definitely more of a project doll and I'll need to really pick out her outfit, and most likely get her a sword, too.
I took only a few rather messy pictures, but she's lovely. She is so grumpy and has a regal air about her. Pearls of Danube made her makeup and it's stunning.
I am going to take a different direction with this blog and make it more active. So far the journal and archive have been quite dry and I want to fix that. I am mirroring the doll profiles to this site instead of linking to DOA, otherwise I feel there isn't much of a point. Update soon!
Yujin is not at home yet, but in the meantime I bought a long-coveted Souldoll Paratiisi off the DOA Marketplace. This is my first second-hand doll and I'm very excited to have her home soon!
